Firearms certificates are issued by the parishes 

By law, if you own any firearms (including shotguns and air weapons) or ammunition, you must have a valid firearm certificate. A firearm certificate is valid for 5 years.

Temporary firearm certificate (if visiting Jersey)

Anyone visiting the island who is intending to bring any firearms to Jersey will be required to complete an online application and payment form. Please note that ALL air weapons will require a visitors’ permit for use in Jersey.
